What Students Will Learn

🧵 Week 1 – Sewing Machine Basics
Learn sewing machine safety, threading, straight stitching, and complete a beginner project.

✂️ Week 2 – Alterations Workshop
Learn how to measure, pin, mark, and hem a pair of pants.

♻️ Week 3 – Upcycle & Redesign
Transform an old garment into a unique fashion piece using creative sewing techniques.

👗 Week 4 – Design & Sew a Skirt
Learn garment construction while creating a custom elastic-waist skirt.

Students Should Bring

👖 One pair of pants for the hemming lesson optional 
👕 One old garment (jeans, denim jacket, or shirt) for the upcycling project
