Cancellation policy

At Philia Brant, each lesson, workshop, and camp is prepared specifically for registered participants. Instructor time, sewing machines, studio space, and materials are reserved in advance to provide the best experience for every student.

Booking Confirmation

Registrations are confirmed only once full payment is received and any required registration forms or waivers are completed.

Private Lessons

Private lesson appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be considered a missed session and may not be eligible for rescheduling or refund.

Workshops, Camps & Group Programs

Because materials, staffing, and equipment are prepared in advance:

  • Cancellations or transfer requests must be made at least 5 days before the program start date
  • One transfer to another available session may be offered where possible
  • Transfers are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed

Missed Sessions / No-Shows

If a participant misses a scheduled class without sufficient notice:

  • The session is considered used
  • Refunds are not provided for missed sessions or no-shows
  • Make-up sessions may be offered only if space allows

For multi-week programs, classes continue automatically on the scheduled weekly day and time.

Refunds

Refunds may be considered when:

  • Philia Brant cancels a class and no suitable alternative is available
  • A cancellation is made within the allowed notice period and materials or preparation costs have not already been committed

Refunds are not available for:

  • Missed sessions
  • No-shows
  • Late cancellations
  • Partially attended programs
  • Change of mind after program start

Minimum Enrollment

Some workshops and camps require minimum enrollment.

If minimum enrollment is not met, Philia Brant may:

  • Reschedule the program
  • Offer transfer to another session
  • Provide store credit
  • Issue a refund

Emergency Situations

We understand genuine emergencies happen and will always try to work reasonably with families whenever possible.
