The big idea

Love anime, gaming, fantasy or Halloween characters? Now learn how to create something inspired by your favorite character yourself.

This is more than a costume-making camp.

Young designers will learn real sewing and fashion-design skills while working toward one main wearable cosplay piece they can use as part of their Halloween costume.

They'll go from inspiration → sketch → measurements → pattern → fabric → sewing → finished creation.

👻 What can they make?

Depending on their character, skill level and design, students may create one main piece, such as:

Cosplay pants • skirt • cape/cloak • vest • simple robe • character-inspired top

Then, if time allows, they can add smaller fabric details and accessories.

Important parent note

Each student will complete an instructor-approved project based on their chosen character and sewing level. The goal is to learn sewing and design while creating one main wearable costume piece. This program does not guarantee a complete replica of a character's costume. Complex designs will be simplified to make them achievable within the camp.
